During Covid-19, much of my junior and senior year of high school was online. I liked spending less time on transportation and having easier access to classes. However, I felt easier to disconnect and be less engaged during zooms. Something I would hope to improve as a teacher during distance learning would be to make class time more engaging like with student participation or more engaging material rather than just lecturing. Open educational resources (OER) are simply educational resources that are open to anyone to reach or use in different ways. For instance, certain textbooks can be open such Open Textbook Library.
